As per recent amendments to Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) Rules, 2017, Financial Institutions like Mutual Funds are mandated to obtain Aadhaar Number from their customers and link the same to the respective accounts. For the sake of convenience,
CAMS and KARVY are facilitating the process of linking your Aadhaar information in Mutual Funds (serviced by CAMS/ARVY) where you hold an account(s).
You can link your Aadhaar in your Mutual Fund Folios through following modes. Post submission of your Aadhaar information through any of the modes specified below, your Aadhaar number will be linked in the respective Mutual Funds database after due verification & authentication as per PMLA requirements and you will get separate confirmation after such links.
1. Online Mode (Click on CAMS/KARVY serviced by your Mutual Fund below)
2. Physical Mode
Submit the duly filled and signed form to the nearest Branches of CAMS, KARVY, or AMC of your respective utual fund or send it via post/courier to the nearest branch. You will find all details by visiting the site after clicking the above logo of CAMS/KARVY.
